If you own your own business, there is exactly one way to make money: you have to sell something. And yet, some of the smartest, most passionate, most talented people I know are doing everything but that — and wondering why the revenue isn't reflecting the work they're putting in.
I've been in so many conversations lately, both on the show and off it, with business owners at every stage — people just starting out, people already at six figures, people who have been at this for years — and the same patterns keep showing up. These are not beginner problems. These are business problems. And they are fixable.
What I've come to understand is that making more money is never only a mindset issue and never only a strategy issue. It is always both. The actions you're not taking and the beliefs that are keeping you from taking them are working together to keep you exactly where you are.
